If water droplets quickly penetrate into the fabric, it indicates that the waterproof performance of the fabric is poor; If the water droplets form small balls on the fabric and quickly slide off, it indicates that the waterproof performance of the fabric is good.

Four. Perform water column pressure test

1. Preparation: Cover a vertical bottle with fabric and seal the bottom of the bottle.

2. Apply water pressure: Inject a certain height of water column into the bottle from the mouth of the bottle, and the height of the water column is the pressure applied.

3. Observe water seepage: Observe at what pressure the water begins to penetrate the fabric, if the water penetrates into the fabric at a lower pressure, it indicates that the waterproof performance of the fabric is poor; If the fabric can withstand high pressure for a long time without water seepage, it indicates that the waterproof performance of the fabric is good.

Five. Friction test

1. Preparation: Wipe the surface of the fabric with a clean cloth.

2. Observe the water seepage: Observe the water seepage of the fabric after wiping. If the coating or film on the fabric is seriously worn or shed, the water seepage will increase significantly, indicating poor waterproof performance.
